I love sushi as a quick on-the-go lunch or for an all-you-can-eat dinner with friends. Even for people who aren’t keen on fish, there are always lots of alternative options on a sushi menu.
In this post, I’ve included 5 places to eat sushi in Zwolle.
(Note: there are of course others but these ones are recommended by myself or by friends of mine)

Blue Sakura
Bethlehemkerkplein 35
Whilst this post isn’t a top 5 list, Blue Sakura would sit at the top of my preferences for sushi in Zwolle. The quality of the food is excellent but it’s the stunning location (in an old church) that really adds to the environment.
For all-you-can-eat sushi, prices at Blue Sakura are: Lunch €19,50, Dinner Mon-Weds €27,50, Dinner Thurs-Sun €28,90 (costs may also vary on holidays).

Silk
Jufferenwal 32
Silk has a varied sushi and Asian-influenced menu with lots of choice. It’s location in the city centre is great and it is a large restaurant so is ideal if you’re with a group of friends.
For all-you-can-eat sushi, prices at Silk are: Lunch €18,50, Dinner Mon-Weds €26,50, Dinner Thurs-Sun €28,00.
Wasabi
Melkmarkt 38
With over 120 menu items, Wasabi offers a la carte or all-you-can-eat dining. This modern restaurant replaces Itoshii (a previous favourite of mine) and is from the same owners as Restaurant UNO.
For all-you-can-eat sushi, prices at Wasabi are: Monday-Wednesday €25,- and Thursday-Sunday €28,50 (costs may also vary on holidays).

SushiPoint
Assendorperstraat 10 or order via Thuisbezorgd.nl
If you want to eat sushi from the comfort of your own home, then order a delivery from SushiPoint. My favourite is the Mixed Sushi Menu for 1 person (18 pieces for €16,95 including uramaki california, salmon and tuna nigiri and a couple of maki options). I also usually order salmon or tuna temaki (€3,- or €3,50). I think the prices are reasonable for the amount you get and I’ve always found the quality to be good.

Poké Bowl King
Rodehaanstraat 6 or order via Thuisbezorgd.nl
Ok, I know this one isn’t strictly a sushi place but I love a poke bowl as an alternative to pieces of sushi. They contain a lot of the usual sushi ingredients, such as rice with fish or meat, as well as common sushi flavours, such as sesame, wasabi and ginger.
My standard order is a large box (for €12,95) with sushi rice, salmon, cucumber, avocado, carrot, surimi sticks, ginger, tempura seaweed and sesame dressing. It’s a lot of food for the cost so I think it’s excellent value for money and really delicious.

Along with my list above, there are quite a few other places to get sushi in Zwolle.
